Working within our specialist capabilities in civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering, we are leading the delivery of a number of new schemes across the country. This is a key time for us as we continue to grow in this exciting sector and look to expand our experienced team and deliver more BESS projects.

Engineering is at the heart of everything we do. Key responsibilities

  • Carry out setting out activities and surveys in accordance with project specifications, inspection and test plans.
  • Ensure company procedures are followed throughout all engineering and construction activities.
  • Liaise effectively with site operatives, subcontractors and project stakeholders to communicate engineering requirements.
  • Support the delivery team in implementing practical and buildable design solutions on site.
  • Complete and maintain accurate as-built records and surveys.
  • Assist with site establishment and ensure company systems, procedures and standards are implemented effectively.
  • Support the Site Manager in maintaining and promoting a positive health, safety and environmental culture.
  • Monitor progress on site, identifying opportunities to improve productivity and performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of materials, plant and labour resources.
  • Assist with cost control by logging deliveries, monitoring plant utilisation and supporting site reporting requirements.
  • Provide engineering and production data to support commercial reporting and project performance monitoring.
  • Contribute to planning activities and help ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget.

  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across sites within region, and potentially further afield as required.
  • Knowledge of construction methods, materials and technical requirements relevant to water and infrastructure projects.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
